Copy editing makes your manuscript fluid and accurate. It includes helping you with your final steps prior to submission of your work including alignment with submission guidelines and making sure your manuscript is ready for blind review. In addition, we can help you write your cover letter.

Developmental Editing
Developmental Editing enables you to conceive an idea and move with it into a full manuscript. This involves intensive collaborative work in which authors work with skilled editors to shape a proposal, an outline, or a partially completed paper into a scholarly manuscript. It begins with choosing a topic and mapping it with the advice of an editor.
How long does this take? Time frames vary. You may quickly complete an outline and get into your writing or it may take a while for you to develop a coherent framework. Developmental editing may be as complex as reshaping and revising a document several times so that your ideas and argument are increasingly logical and clear. We guide you as you move from these initial steps right through to a polished manuscript.

Content Editing
Content editing relates to readability, flow, organization, academic language, academic voice, and content. If your manuscript has been rejected, content editing offers suggestions regarding content and organization to you and provides guidance to help you rewrite in order to make your argument logical and clear. Sometimes, authors have two big ideas that ought to be separated into two different manuscripts. Sometimes, your facility with academic English is getting in the way.
